Four Hills Equestrian is a thriving online retailer specialising in high-quality equestrian products and accessories. We cater to horse enthusiasts, dog lovers, and those who embrace the countryside lifestyle. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Part-Time Remote eCommerce Assistant. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for horses, dogs, and country living, who is keen to develop their skills in eCommerce & marketing.

Role Overview:

As an eCommerce Assistant, you will be integral to maintaining and enhancing our online store. We’re looking for someone with a meticulous eye for detail and a genuine interest in the products we offer. You will be responsible for uploading products, creating visual content, and supporting our online marketing efforts. There will be opportunities to grow within the role, with potential to take on additional responsibilities as you progress.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Management:

  • Upload new products to our Shopify platform, ensuring that descriptions & prices are accurate, informative, and appealing to our customers.
  • Categorise products effectively, considering the needs of our audience, including those interested in equestrian goods, dog accessories, and country life essentials.
  • Regularly update product listings, including images, pricing, and stock availability.
Content Creation & Design:
  • Create visually appealing graphics using Canva for product promotions, social media posts, and newsletters.
  • Assist in planning and scheduling content across our digital channels, ensuring it aligns with our brand’s ethos and appeals to our target audience.
Communication & Collaboration:
  • Participate in twice-weekly 30-minute check-ins with the team to discuss ongoing tasks, set priorities, and review progress.
  • Contribute ideas for improving our online store and marketing strategies, drawing on your understanding of our products and customers.
Potential Future Responsibilities:
  • As you grow into the role, there may be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities such as stock management, ordering, and exploring new product lines.
  • This role could evolve into a full-time position with a focus on marketing or business administration, with the possibility of undertaking a Level 3 Marketing/Business Admin Apprenticeship for the right candidate.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Passion for Horses, Dogs, and Country Life:

      • A strong interest in these areas is essential, as your understanding will be crucial in managing and promoting our product range.
    • Technical Requirements:

      • A reliable internet connection and access to a laptop or desktop computer capable of handling basic eCommerce tasks.
    • Software Proficiency:

      • Experience with Shopify and Canva is preferred but not essential; training can be provided.
      • Basic knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms is advantageous.
    • Availability:

      • The role offers flexible working hours, but you must be available for two 30-minute check-ins between 10 AM and 4 PM on weekdays.
