Delivery Information
At Four Hills Country we keep our delivery promise simple and transparent. All orders are picked, packed and dispatched from our UK fulfilment unit, with clear timelines so you know exactly when to expect your parcel.
Our Shipping Rhythm
To support intentional, low-waste retailing and to keep our small team efficient, we dispatch customer orders on two set shipping days each week:
- Monday
- Thursday
This schedule aligns incoming deliveries with outgoing parcels and keeps the process smooth without compromising speed or reliability.
Please note that made-to-order, personalised, pre-order and Friends of Four Hills items follow their own processing and dispatch timeframes, as listed on each individual product page. These timeframes take priority over the general Tuesday/Friday dispatch schedule.
Delivery Times & Couriers
Once your order has been dispatched, delivery typically takes 1–3 working days, depending on the courier and the service used.
We primarily use the following tracked services:
- DPD Next Day
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 and Tracked 48
- Evri Tracked
The courier used depends on the size and weight of your parcel, your location and the delivery service selected at checkout. You will receive full tracking details as soon as your parcel leaves us.
Free UK Delivery
Orders over £75 qualify for free tracked UK delivery. No code required. This option will appear automatically at checkout for eligible baskets.
Processing Times by Product Type
Four Hills Country offers a curated mix of in-house items and partner products. Processing times vary slightly depending on the type of item you choose.
Ready-to-Ship Items
Most in-stock items are prepared for dispatch ahead of the next available shipping day: Tuesday or Friday.
Made-to-Order & Personalised Items
Some items are created specially for you. These products list their own processing timeframes on the product page. Once the item is ready, it will be dispatched on the next suitable shipping day.
Pre-Order Items
Pre-order products follow the release schedule or timeframe listed on their product page. Dispatch will occur on the next shipping day after the merchandise arrives with us.
Mixed Orders
If your basket includes a mix of ready-to-ship and made-to-order, personalised or pre-order items, your order will be dispatched once all items are ready. This avoids unnecessary packaging and helps reduce shipping emissions.
Friends of Four Hills Fulfilment
Some items on our website are supplied directly by trusted partner brands and are marked as Friends of Four Hills. These products may:
- ship directly from the partner brand,
- follow partner-specific processing times,
- arrive separately from the rest of your order.
Any variations in timeframe are clearly shown on the relevant product pages. All partners share our commitment to quality, reliability and excellent customer experience.
Missed Deliveries & Returned Parcels
If you are not available when the courier attempts delivery, they will update your tracking with instructions for redelivery or collection.
If a parcel is returned to us because it was not collected or an incorrect address was provided, we can arrange redelivery. Additional postage charges may apply. Please contact help@fourhillscountry.co.uk within 60 days of dispatch.
Delayed, Lost or Damaged Orders
If your order is delayed, has not arrived within the expected timeframe or arrives damaged, please notify us within 7 days of the delivery date or expected delivery date.
To begin an investigation with the courier, please contact us with:
- Your order number
- Your name and delivery address
- Details of the issue
- Clear photographs (if applicable)

Busy Periods, Public Holidays & Christmas Cut Off
During busy trading periods such as Christmas, Bank Holidays and major product launches, processing and delivery may take slightly longer than usual. We will always notify you directly if your order experiences a significant delay.

Final Standard Delivery Dispatch: Friday 19 December
Orders must be placed before 9:00am on Friday 19 December to be dispatched via Standard Delivery on Monday 22nd December with an expected arrival before Christmas. -
Final Guaranteed Christmas Delivery: Tuesday 23 December
Orders placed before 9:00am on Monday 22 December will be dispatched via Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed, the only service guaranteed to arrive before Christmas when dispatched on this date. -
No dispatch will take place between 24–29 December.
Orders placed after the final cut-offs will be dispatched when normal dispatching resumes.
Normal Tuesday/Friday dispatching will resume on Tuesday 30 December.
If your order is time-sensitive, we recommend choosing Express Tracked Delivery and placing your order before the final dispatch cut-off.
