Payment Methods

At Four Hills Country we want checkout to feel as reliable and straightforward as the rest of your experience with us. We work with trusted, secure payment providers so you can place your order with confidence.

Accepted Payment Methods

We currently accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit & Debit Cards – Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and American Express
  • PayPal
  • Apple Pay (on supported devices and browsers)
  • Google Pay (on supported devices and browsers)
  • Shop Pay & Shop Pay Installments
  • Bank Transfer / Invoice Payment (for approved business customers by prior arrangement)

Your card or chosen payment method will be charged at the point of checkout once your order is confirmed.

Card Payments

We accept all major credit and debit cards. All card payments are processed securely via our payment gateway using industry-standard encryption.

PayPal

Check out using PayPal if you prefer. You may be able to pay using your PayPal balance, linked bank account or stored cards depending on your PayPal setup.

Apple Pay & Google Pay

On supported devices and browsers, you will see Apple Pay or Google Pay as an option at checkout. These methods allow fast, secure payment using your saved details.

Shop Pay & Shop Pay Installments

Shop Pay allows a quick, secure checkout using saved details. Where available, you may also choose Shop Pay Installments to spread the cost of your order into interest-free payments (subject to approval and eligibility). Approval is handled directly by Shopify’s payment partner.

Please note:

  • Shop Pay Installments cannot be used to purchase gift cards.
  • Eligibility is shown at checkout where applicable.
  • Late or missed payments may affect future approval.

Bank Transfer / Invoice Payment (Business Customers)

Available for approved business customers only and must be arranged prior to ordering. If you require this option, please contact us at help@fourhillscountry.co.uk.

Security & Fraud Prevention

Your payment information is processed securely. Four Hills Country does not store or have direct access to your card details. All transactions are encrypted and processed by certified payment providers.

To protect our customers, we may:

  • request additional verification,
  • decline transactions flagged by our security systems, or
  • cancel orders where suspicious activity is detected.

Currency

All prices are shown in GBP (£). If you are using an international card, your bank may apply its own exchange rate or fees.

Failed or Declined Payments

If your payment does not go through, we recommend:

  • checking your card details are entered correctly,
  • confirming your billing address matches your bank’s records,
  • trying an alternative payment method, or
  • contacting your bank or card provider.

Pre-Order, Personalised & Made-to-Order Items

For personalised, made-to-order, special-order or pre-order items, payment is usually taken in full at checkout so we can begin processing immediately. Some pre-order items may require a deposit instead, with the remaining balance payable before shipping. Any deposit or balance details will be clearly shown on the product page before you complete your order.

Due to their bespoke or time-sensitive nature, these items are non-cancellable and non-returnable unless faulty. Full details are outlined in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Business Purchases

If you place an order under a business name or provide a VAT number, your purchase will fall under our B2B Terms & Conditions. These typically differ from consumer rights and may involve non-cancellable and non-returnable terms unless the goods are faulty.
